Karl has been a part of Targeted Response with Youth (TRY) since 2017 which officially joined with Solas Project in February 2022. Having grown up in a flat complex in the North Inner City, Karl understands the issues of adversity young people face and is passionate about helping them construct positive lifestyle pathways. In his own words: 

“Having overcome adversity in my own life, I pride myself in helping others do the same. I love leading a team to help engage with hard-to-reach young people on the streets by building relationships where they are at.” 

Karl previously worked as a Recovery Coach in addiction services and holds a degree in Community Drugs and Alcohol Practice (UCD) and an Honours Degree in Leadership (Maynooth). Outside of work he enjoys running, going to the gym, and most importantly being a father.
