Solas After School Project is a company limited by guarantee, incorporated in 2007. The company was set up under a Memorandum of Association which established the objects and powers of the charitable company and is governed by a Constitution and managed by a Board of Directors.

All income, donations and bequests are applied solely towards the promotion of the charitable objectives of Solas Project.
At Solas Project, we are committed to providing transparency through all our practices. We are fully compliant with the Charities Governance Code, as required by the Charities Regulator.
Good governance involves putting in place systems and processes to ensure that Solas Project achieves its charitable objectives with integrity and is managed in an effective, efficient, accountable and transparent way.

As charity trustees the board are responsible for governance within the charity and ensure that the six principles of the Charities Governance Code are being applied. Solas Project has suite of guidance documents and policies in this regard.
Solas Project strives to apply the Charities SORP (Statement of Recommended Practice) in Annual Audited Accounts.
At Solas Project, we are committed to providing the highest level of Child Protection. All staff and volunteers must adhere to our guidelines.
