Hilton Hotels go bowling!

We were delighted when our Charity Partners Hilton Hotel asked if they could arrange a fun afternoon out for 'The Club'. 13 staff members from the Hilton Hotels took 44 of our young people for an afternoons bowling in Tallaght. 

On arrival there was already alot of fierce competition between the children (even more so the adults!), it was great to see all the Hilton crew get stuck in and play on teams with them all, giving tips and the odd heckle!

We took advantage of the sunshine and had a picnic outside afterwards and everyone was delighted to receive a goody bag from our Hilton friends.

Providing encouragement and support is to our young people is what our Club is all about & we are so thankful to all of the Hilton staff for taking the time to get to know our amazing kids and look forward to seeing you back again for the rematch!

Social Entrepreneurs Ireland - Impact Series

Graham Jones - Head Gardener of Solas Project was awarded the Social Entrepreneurs Ireland Elevator Award in 2013 for his work with our prison based programme Compass.

On Tuesday 28th April, Graham will be speaking at the Social Entrepreneurs Ireland Impact Series Event in Smock Alley (6.30pm - 9.30pm)  on the subject of: Building an inclusive Recovery.

Alongside Graham, other speakers will be T.D. Kevin Humphreys , Sr. Stanislaus Kennedy,  Elizabeth Waters & Lynn Ruane.

Easter Break

We love being able to kick back and relax a bit with our young people over the Easter Project. 

Rather than a formal programme, we take the opportunity to get outside and enjoy some adventure.

We took a group from our Step Up teenagers out to Dun Laoghaire to enjoy the fresh air and try out Scrumdiddlys ice-cream spot.

Some of them even braved a dip in the sea!
